Shayna Image was branded after Rachel’s daughter’s middle name, which means beautiful in Yiddish. Rachel’s husband, 10 year old, and 7 year old have well-prepared her to roll with whatever dynamic your family has to offer! She brings the energy of her previous work as an actor, director, and puppeteer to your shoot, along with the experience of photographing professionally since 2004.

WHY I DO THIS FOR YOU:

As a little girl visiting my grandparents, I saw portraits plastered all over their walls: past generations and our family. I felt so proud to see those pictures. When they passed away, I cleared their home. I took those same portraits off the walls, held them, brought them home.

“Aha" moment.

I was a professional photographer and I had no portraits of my own children on my walls. My clients were in the same position. WHY don’t we have heirloom prints that can actually be passed down??!

My goal is for your family to see yourselves as art in your home every day, and then pass those same portraits down to your great grandchildren.
