+ What type of camera do you use?

A: I’m a Canon user! I shoot with my treasured R5.

+ What exactly am I paying for here?

A: When we talk, we will discuss your needs and desires, so that we can craft a shoot to remember. You will benefit from over a decade of experience, and top notch equipment and editing software. Included in your package is:

  • Time spent consulting

  • Travel time within the Metro-Atlanta area (travel further available)

  • Usage of the Shayna Image Studio and grounds

  • A fun, relaxed photoshoot that brings out your best

  • Assistance selecting your portraits

  • Editing all your purchased portraits: elevating them to a quality you will want to pass on to future generations

  • Gallery design with images scaled to your wall

  • Album design

  • A password-protected online gallery to share with friends and family. They can order prints directly from the gallery, and can download images for digital use only.

  • All images and products are purchased a-la-carte.

+ Do you use props?

A: I have had clients bring all sorts of goodies to shoots. I encourage families with babies or children to bring their treasured blankets, toys and books. My goal is that you should look back on these pictures as a time capsule; say, I remember when baby Jane was that age and wanted to hear that book a million times! Of course, it’s no problem if you prefer to bring butterfly wings and baskets!

+ When and where should we ideally shoot?

A: When and where would you like? We have full use of the Shayna Image Studio and grounds which include woods, a creek, and some fascinating backgrounds. We can also meet at a location meaningful to you, indoors or outdoors. If we are shooting in broad light outdoors, an hour before sunset is ideal. That being said, if we are shooting with kids, happy children are more important than the best light, so let’s discuss their schedule. Let’s plan!

+ In what format to I receive my images?

A: Your heirloom gallery can be on any number of products, including mounted prints, metal, and canvas. You also receive your password-protected online gallery of every print you order, so those far and near can love your portraits, order prints directly for themselves, and everyone can download the files.
